Sarah 300B or Torii MK5
09/12/25 at 01:56:40
I'm on the list for a Sarah 300B. I already have a CSP325/SE84UFO25 combo. I'm keeping them. I'm considering changing my order to a Torii MK5. I'm thinking it would be the better choice for when I "need" to crank up the volume on my rock records.
What say ye all?

Torrii MK5 has more power and more output tube choices…What speakers? Room size?
What drew you to the Sarah? I would not change for more power alone.

Main speakers are very efficient Klipsch Forte.
I'm wondering if there may be some redundancy in the two SET amps and having a higher powered push-pull for some of my less efficient speakers would be a good move.

Yes. Nice room.
I have a Torii JrV2. I prefer its simplicity of design when compared to Torii MK5. You cannot go wrong with either in my opinion. Nothing wrong with staying with Sarah either. The multiple output tubes is a winner in my opinion given the cost of 300B tubes.
The Sarah has its appeal, and you should be able to rock out with it when you want. Given the wait time, you have time to decide. A tough decision ahead. IMO. Thanks
