I'm on a tight budget for a while and was wondering if these were something someone could pick up for me, and ship them as I reached out and he will not ship them. He also prefers the buyer audition these in person and strongly suggested it. Charlie

Having said that I was just wondering if anyone had listening experience with these. The builder says he built them spec for spec including the transformers so I'm curious. When Steve's expertise and craftsmanship is available and an option it's a no-brainer I agree.

It is hard to tell what is going on here. Don't like the PT and OP tranny laminations being parallel oriented to one another. Solid state rectification limits tube rolling. Will the seller send inside pics?

I do have one of each soild state and tube rectification with PCB and hard wire of Steve's kits. When time permits there is a plan of doing an A/B comparison.
