Input Tubes

I am wondering if anyone has an opinion on the differences between the two input tubes, 7DJ8 and 6N5P shipped with the UFO25?

Glenn,

It's been awhile since I've listened to both in the UFO25TH. My recollection is the 6N5P is more rich, fat and full of density. The 7DJ8 is light and airy with sparkling highs.

That's how I would describe the differences as well in my SE84UFO3 Monoblocks, CSP3, CSP2+ and Taboo Mk IV, all with 25th Anniversary mods.

The 6N5P sounds like a 6N1P but with better focus and about 20% less gain which gives it a silky character.  One of my favorite tubes.
