This guy has spent his childwood in France until the age of seven or ten, something like that.
He came back later and spend months in Arles, a town in the south of France were the Gypsy gather once a year and play their flamenco.
He then went to Spain to learn with the flamenco players there for another long period.
So his music isn't a traditional Flamenco but is very bias to it and more accessible to many.
