Matching a Sugden A21SE with Tube Tots

Hello All,

I have a Sugden A21SE Integrated Amp.

Do you think the new Tube Tots would be a good match?

I know the Tots are more for Tube Amp rated at 30 watts or less.

The Sugden is Pure Class A SS at 30 watts at 8-ohm or 40 watts at 4-ohms.

I believe the Tots are 4-ohms when using the tie rods.

Any feedback on this combination?

Hi Jay,

I should be a good combination. The predicted higher damping of the amp will probably let you take them to a bit higher volumes than the tube amp, but at the same time have a stiffer speed limit if you know what I mean so as long as you don't get reckless it should be a rather great pairing.

Hello Steve,

Thank You for chimming in and providing your recommendation.

Can I ask, is there a long wait time right now for these speakers?

Also, which speaker stands do you recommend?

Thanks

Jay
