Decware Amp feet
11/30/20 at 16:05:41

Bob Z. has made a set of custom bases for my Decware Amps. They look really really great! I need to supply the feet for the new bases. Does anyone one know what Decware uses for their amp feet? What size? Many thanks for the help.

I would look at the Herbies Audio Lab Tenderfoot with adhesive.

https://herbiesaudiolab.com/collections/component-isolation/products/tenderfoot?...
variant=12643255386167

You could get away with 3 or 4 to make sure it's really solid.

I use the Tenderfoot (tenderfeet?) under my CSP3. I like what they do to the sound.

If that's a little too much to spend you can get any rubber bumper pads or rubber feet for a few bucks.

Thanks Guys. Good counsel as usual. I found a set of sixteen on amazon that has good reviews, I'll try them on for size. The Tenders were my first choice but I need 20 and I thought I'd try something a little less expensive to start. I'll give Sarah a call if these don't fit/work. Thanks again for the advice.

20 of them would add up quickly! I when the time comes might want to try 1 set of them see if you like what happens.

Please post photos of the custom bases when when you get them.

Thanks GroovySauce,
The bases are being delivered today. I dropped off a few walnut boards that were cut and milled on the same day JFK was assassinated (57 years or so ago) at Bob Z's shop. He used the wood to make walnut bases for my ZMA, CSP3, Taboo4, ZP3 and a 25th Annv. amp that is in the que. Heck of a nice guy and certainly a valued member of the Decware family. I'll load some pics soon. Happy Holidays.

This is the new walnut base built by Bob Z. for my office Taboo. It is built like the 25th Anv. amp base. Looks great with the walnut tiny radials on my desk. The new base makes everything sound better!  ;)
