Keith:PAP Trio 15 with the horn. Nice speakers!

Breaking in my PAP Trio15 Classics with Voxativ PiFe.  After 120 hours of break-in they are coming into their own.  Eminence woofers sound as though they need more time.  I am breaking them in with a solid state amp, and once broken in will switch over to a SE84UFO.  SE840UFO25 on order.

Johndc8, sorry I didn't see this till today. Are you still interested? keithm.1@icloud.com

Thermionic, I am pretty happy with the speakers. I changed out a lot of caps, wasn't happy with the Mundorf. Settled on the Dueland (cheap ones). As to the bass, the HR-1's have more pronounced bass. But the bass on the PAP's is very textured, detailed.  I find some recordings much better than others for bass. I think my room is too small to really let them sing. But overall I think they are great speakers. Great imaging, no fatigue at all. Thinking of making some copper foil wires from the crossover to the speakers.
I run them with the Mystery Amp and the Ztpre. way more power than I need. The pre amp expanded the sound stage. If I did it again I would get 2 SE84UFO25's as mono blocks. I think you'll have a great set up.
Cheers
