Thank you for posting that.

I like that his turntable has an off center drive peg.  I wonder why playback turntables don't have those.

It was interesting how the record had room ambiance, but his voice direct to us through the television recording equipment did not.

Great video!  John and Alan Lomax used a portable one a lot like this to make recordings in the field in the 30’s and 40’s - blues, Appalachian, Cajun and many other kinds of music for the Library of Congress.
