Cartridge repair & re-tipping recommendation
07/04/19 at 12:33:22

I just had Steve Leung at VAS Audio replace an aging microridge aluminum stylus on my Dynavector 20x2 low output cartridge. He did a phenomenal job replacing the stylus and the cartridge sounds better than new. The turn around time was only 2 1/2 weeks.

Steve is extremely meticulous and his prices are very reasonable.

If you have an aging or damaged cartridge, please consider giving Steve a call. Here is a link for additional information: https://vasnyinc.com/repair-service/.

Steve also builds a killer open body moving coil cartridge which Harry Weisfeld, owner of VPI turntables recommends. BTW, VAS Audio is actually located in the same building as VPI in Cliffwood, NJ. Steve does a lot of work for VPI, including wiring all their tonearms.

You've reached the holy grail of cartridge retipping. Much the same way as I had my Marantz 2226 silver face receiver redone by "Catrafter" over on Audiokarma.
