Rolling Rectifiers on the ZP3
04/22/19 at 20:57:25

Long time lurker, first-time poster. I was lucky enough to get a SE84UFO25 and a ZP3 w. full 25th mods for X-Mas this year and have a had a blast living with both thus far.

That said I have stuck my toe into rectifier rolling and I was curious if it is safe to use a Type 80 globe/balloon with the ZP3? I know that it is alright with the amp but I have seen much in the way of "rec"-rolling with the ZP3.

Any thoughts would be warmly welcomed!!

I sold my ZP3 before I could tube roll a Type 80 within it, but I'm 99.9 percent sure that it won't be any problem at all for the component. . . .

I've been running a type 80 in both my ZP3 and CSP3 for over a year.  No issues.
