I’ve seen a few cool desktop lights on the cool systems out there. What’s your turntable/stereo light and where did you get it.

IKEA gooseneck type selling for $10. I've got several and they are terrific.

I use a string of rope lights around the inside of the door of the closet where the rack is, nice low level lighting. I know where all the switches and knobs are. For the TT on top of the rack I have two small spots (40w) in the corners focused at the center of the table. Works great for me. Happy listening, Chris.
