The real time amplifier waiting list....

Since posting that link to our real-time build sheet many people I chat with on the phone have reviewed it before ever placing their orders... popular item.

Call it 100% transparency.

Now for the first time we're going to be hitting a record number probably exceeding 200.  100 is the normal winter average and 50 is the summer average.  This is with between 2 and 3 techs building.

The giant bump in is because of an overwhelming number of orders placed in a single day... Black Friday.

As a result I will be pulling in extra crew to chew on the list thus dropping the wait time by 33%.  That's a good thing because we were and are at 12 weeks now, before the additional 81 orders came in.

If you could run an add for soldering gurus who are familiar with and can troubleshoot tube circuits, like 50 years ago, then no problem...

Training from scratch is a serious commitment. I know, having done so twice, I can tell you it takes someone with minimal experience a full 7 years to get to the level required to build our amplifiers.

I wish I could get my wife and daughter to do it, as they both have a real gift with their tiny hands when it comes to soldering, but I know as good as they are, they wouldn't be happy doing it day in and day out.

Anyway, if you're one of those lucky ones on the build sheet, just know no matter how long it takes, it will be well worth the wait.  We still maintain a less than 1% return rate on our 30 day in home trial.

Big companies would laugh at such as small list... until they themselves listened to the products and realized that even with all the success their equipment doesn't sound anywhere close.

Thanks,

Steve

Joint them definitely won’t help. In fact I’m sure just the opposite.

Indeed, the very worse thing you could possibly do in an amplifier shop is start smoking things!
