DNA to NFX Comparison?
10/15/18 at 01:10:07

Would someone compare for me the sound character of the DNA horn speaker with the NFX Ultraflex speaker?

Thanks, Brian

I cannot say from experience, but it is hard for me to imagine two speakers being more different in design. In that, I mean that the NFX is closer to an open baffle speaker and should have a large dispersion pattern. The DNA is quite opposite in that it would have good dispersion, but much more directed, at least in the mid range and treble. I would also expect that the DNA would have visceral bass compared to the NFX.
As it turns out, I will be building the DNA speaker in the near future. I would also mention that I presently own the ZOB which is an open baffle design. The comparison of these two speakers will be of great interest to me in the future.

Your comparison of DNA to ZOB  will be interesting.
DNA, ZOB, NFX; It sounds like we are talking about a science fiction movie.
