Hello all,

Thought I'd post today. I've been lurking around these pages for a month or so trying to figure things out.  I've been in and out of audio for about 40 years. Most of the equipment I have was bought in the 80's so it's well past time for some upgrades. I don't have any Decware yet, but am most interested in the SE84UFO, ZP3 and the DNA's.

Also, I have no room treatments so I'm looking at GIK and others. My room is small at about 1,300cf, but I can "mostly" dedicate it to music.

Seems like a great group of folks around here.

Scott

Welcome Scott!

It is a great great, very knowledgeable, very helpful group.
Look forward to enjoying your visits and be prepared for some serious changes to your current thoughts on Audio Equipment and Listening Rooms, at least that’s my recent experience.
I’ve been learning and reading almost nonstop for a few months and haven’t even scratched the surface of what Steve and the rest of these guys know.

Best,
Scott

Hey Scott,

Welcome to Decware and to the forum. This is only my 10th year in audio, with about half of that after I discovered Decware. I have to say that my audio knowledge took a big leap up after I started paying attention to the forum, and to Steve's white papers. Congrats on finding this great group.

I must add a note of thanks to all on  the forum and, for sure, to Steve. Cannot leave Lon out either as it was his postings on another audio web site that led me to Decware. One post on here and Zygi informed and invited me to  Decfest last year. Been a wonderful journey and discovery for me both on the forum and two trips to the mother ship! Now anxiously awaiting SE84UFO-25, DNA2 and ZROCK2 to go with the ZBIT I acquired from Lon. Can scarcely wait to recreate the great sounds and music in my humble abode here in Little Rock, Arkansas!!!!!!
