What a great set up!  (Full disclosure:  that's what I have too -- except the ZROCK.)  What's your phono stage?

Edit:  Ooops, I just saw the ZP3.  I've got that too plus a ZMC1.  I'm currently waiting on my new Technics 1200G to arrive.  Should be about as good as it gets -- in my world anyway.   Cool

I sent Steve my ZP3 to see if he could get rid of a hum it's had since new 3+ years ago.  It ships back tomorrow - hopefully sans hum.  So, I'll be back up to full speed.  There's nothing I have to tell you about how great this combination sounds.

Just looking for one of records that has a soundstage that expands to left of the left speaker and to the right of the right speaker and can't find the darn thing Smiley its some German  decca record from the 60s by some Austrian quartet and can't think of their darn name. going crazy. Need to find another recording that does the same Smiley

I rarely get anything outside of my speakers.  Maybe limits of my room?

That's because that album had elements recorded with Q-Sound.

I have heard a few, mainly on others' systems, as the Q-sound filter/system seems to be used on styles of music I generally don't listen to at home. Neat. .. but not really a "necessary" thing in my listening world.

Thank you Lon. i just looked on the q sound website and found pink fluid pulse live 1995 was recorded using q-sound. and boy it does sound great, i am having to listen to my speakers near filed with toe at 90 degrees because of that high mid resonance from being new. they fill the room awesome
