KT120 in Rachael SE34I.5
02/27/17 at 00:57:06

There's a couple of old threads where people have tried KT120s in a an older version of the Rachael (and other amps as well). In one thread, Steve said that anything above a KT77 would sound lean (referring, apparently, to them being placed in an SE34I.2 or 3). In another thread, a forum member said they sounded just like EL34s, and therefore weren't worth the extra expense.

Has anyone tried KT120s in the latest iteration (SE34I.5) or even <gasp> a set of KT150s? If so, where do they bias?

A friend wants to know . . . Smiley

Edit: for grammar

If a KT120 does not work in a current amp, I hope Decware would consider adding a new amp in a Rachael format. How many watts would it have?`
