Will the Bottlehead PT-5 power a 6N1P if one used a resistor to bring down the voltage to 6 volts?  :

I have decided on the Edcor R217 to power a 12AV7 in a custom build ZBox.

So far here is the parts list :

- Edcor R217
- Custom built wood chassis in walnut with a powder coat, black face.
- Jensen 3.3 uF copper foil/paper in oil coupling caps
- 47uF and 220 uF Solen Fastcap 400V power supply capacitors
- 47K carbon composition NOS Allen Bradley cathode/anode resistors
- 470K Riken Ohm plate loading resistors
- 15 ohm 5 watt Kiwame(lowered filament heater voltage for digital)
- 30K 5 watt Kiwame(power supply C-R-C resistor; 100V target B+)
- filament heater resistor bypass switch; 10.5v-12v adjustable

Yeah!
