CSP2+ and Taboo II setup
02/25/16 at 15:18:48

OK...I know this has "probably" been done to death, but my google fu is weak and I've looked a lot on this forum.  I have a Taboo II and am getting a CSP2+ today.  What is a good starting point in terms of setup?  Which inputs on Taboo...variable or fixed?  I suspect fixed, but then where do I set the volume control on the Taboo?

On the CSP2+ do I set the individual gains in the middle and then control the volume with the master?  What are the voltage controls for?  I have also looked for a manual, but can only find one for a CSP2 online...not the +.

Any assistance appreciated.  Will be using Taboo for LCD-2's and desktop speakers.  The CSP2+ to drive the Taboo and for 150 ohm and up impedance headphones. (Sennheiser HD650 and 700)
regards,
Hibuck...

I think the CSP3 page will answer your questions.

I don't have a CSP3, but I do use the Taboo II with a McIntosh C220 Preamp  I use the fixed inputs as I think it sounds better.  Whenever I used variable the volume did not sound consistent.
