It took longer than expected to prepare and paint the aluminum chassis, but the results were worth it - Green Metalic Flake with Silver hardware. I also used a Hammond filament transformer (167Q6) with center tap to eliminate hum. The amplifier is so quiet it was several days before I noticed an audible hum while turning off for the night. Almost below perception, which is very acceptable.

Thought I would show what's inside. The small circuit in the corner is a power supply for the front panel LED which produces a nice soft glow.

I went throwback and used a power switch with neon bulb built in that runs on the mains.
Probably start flickering in a few years but that just adds to the ambience! lol
