Stripped plastic binding post?
08/09/15 at 22:40:26

I can't seem to loosen one of the plastic binding post so I can remove my speaker  cable spade, the plastic moves, but the gold center doesn't budge! Any tips? Also are the newer metal posts still $30 an amp(set)? Kelly

Can you get plyers on it? I would think that putting a little squeeze and twisting would loosen it.
I would then compleatly unscrew it and see if I could glue it together somehow.

I can, but it won't turn, it slips! I can only get the tip of either needle-nose or slip-joint pliers on it. I could really reef on it, but only as the last resort!!!
