ZStage inout requirements
06/15/15 at 01:23:00

Will the headphone output impedance and voltage from media players like MP3 and iPods be enough to drive the ZStage to add umph to the ZEN SET Kit amp when using those devices?

Hi Hank,

The ZStage, a single triode tube stage using a 12AU7 is the ideal solution to wimpy lower output sources such as smartphones, ipods, and even many computers.  Of course it will nicely compliment to the SE84 based kit as well.
