Check out this little article about Steve Jobs and the analog gear he used to rock.

Did he destroy music?  Or did he bring the gift of music to more people?

There are times when I am driving into work, listening to satellite radio in the car (which sounds terrible btw), singing/dancing, and I feel energized and excited to start my day.  It's not Decware hi-fi, but it's music, and any music is better than no music at all.

Everything will catch up (convenience-->quality) and soon everyone will be streaming HD tracks or listening to HD masters, so listen and enjoy the music no matter if it's on your iPod or Decware system...

Cheers,
David

The gift of music was always there, David. We made it work, or worked for it, when we were kids. Remember the joy of waiting for a new album to come out and going to the record store, and buying that album (and later, CD) that coveted, and rushing home to listen to it?

I'm not saying convenience is bad... I guess maybe I'm just getting old(er) and nostalgic.
