Thanks! The dual SE84+ are no more, though. I found the two amps to be too different sounding from each other to function effectively as mono blocks. It also lost some of that special Zen speed and transparency that the amps are famous for.

Try biamping with them if your speakers alow. One amp for the tweeters and the other for the mids. I do this with my HR-1s with great success. This way you can also control the tweeters if you want them hotter or not with the amps volume control. Give it a try and report back.

Hi there, it seems bi-amping the speakers which have separate binding posts for woofer/tweeter would make most sense to wire them as  deucekazoo suggested.

Not only would you have far greater control over the mids vs lows balance, but it wouldn't matter even if you had two different amps!

Is this correct?

Has anyone tried bi-amping the ERR?
