DM945 Compared to LSA-1 Montors
09/14/13 at 15:40:57

Has anyone compared the DM945 to the base model LSA-1 Monitors?
I have the LSA's and have recently purchased the DM945's for a good price. Just wondering if anyone had some experience with these two speakers before I can listen to them both myself.

Sorry, never heard the DM945 ... I did however hear the LSA-1 paired up with a Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum Integrated Amplifier.  The combination was one of the best in the dealer's store IMO and punched above it's price catagory.

I ended up selling the Lsa's after listening to the DM945's.
The Decware speakers had much improved treble and midrange and while there is probably less bass impact, they definitely have more bass detail. Soundstaging was also much improved, and was probably one of the biggest differences.

This is of course comparing against the standard edition lsa monitors.
