SE84+ as a tube buffer before preamp works great?

I have attached my Linn LP-12 and my Metrum Octave DAC to my white SE84+. (CKC and CCE mods).

The speaker output is converted to line output by an passive box.

Very interesting results and using the bias switch gives additional very interesting results.

Any comments

Also I will be selling the Custom White SE84+ with CKC and CCE mods (with a extra switch to turn off the CKC mod, I would always leave it on).  LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.

You are the one to make comments on what you did. It seems ingenious for sure.  How does it sound?

It made the music come alive with a lot of punch.

At the end of the day I would have to dial in other settings to make the sound just right, the sound did not seem to be linear.

It was fun to experiment, but I wonder if cables or impedance matching came into play.
