I have what claims to be a SE84CS power transformer coming from ebay, it was cheap, are there identifying marking I can check for authenticity?  I don't really know its condition at this time.

Hello Steve,
Just saw this.
My SE84CSEX is in pieces in my garage. The power transfo was a Hammond, but I can't recall the model #. If you would still like to know, respond and I'll check and post the info.

The compatible Hammond transformer is either a 272FX or 372FX depending on if you want world voltage compatibility or just 120volts.
