camping at Decfest?

I see that it says we can camp there.  Do people usually take advantage of this?  Is anyone planning to camp this year?

I haven't heard of any Grizzly Bear attacks in the Peoria area in quite a while. I would almost bet it is safe to camp there. Just sleep with one eye open and your finger on the trigger........

I just figured out where the Grizzlys have gone to, the Tigers ate them.
Oh you didn't know about the tiger problem in E. Peoria? They were brought in to keep the cobras at bay. Most of the cobras are gone now, other than the few hundred there on Riverview Drive. Nothing to worry about.......

There were several folks who pitched tents last year. Right near the bonfire. It was not real cold. I think they made out all right.

Isn't Camp Crystal Lake backing up to the Fest property? I remember something going on there on a Friday the 13th a few years ago. Some guy took to hacking up some young campers, I think.
I'm sure that they caught the killer, or did they???????

The only evil beings in East Peoria you need to worry about are the asian carp.
