Loved the adaptability  of the Wicked design and wanted to give this a try.  Needed speakers for my Mac anyway.

I haven't used any Web based programs to calculate the dimensions but wanted to get this going.

Here are the plans.

Comments and suggestions are welcomed with open arms and mind. Up firing speakers may be a tough problem.

Broad Stroke,

What a good idea if it works, and I would hope that it would...

I think 1/4" material will be a little tough to work with and may resonate more than you might want. On the other hand the resonance may be good thing. Don't know until you build it.

The one thing I would do, is scale the original exactly as the plans are drawn, from what I see, your plan is close, but not correct.

I would definitely  leave the bottom off, sealing to the desk top with some 2mm sticky foam bought from a craft store. This will allow you to change the volume of the of the driver compartment if needed.

I hope it works, might try one myself...
