6BZ7 in the CSP2+?

Is the 6BZ7 safe to use in the CSP2+? I see that they are considerably cheaper than most 6dj8 tubes and wouldn't mind rolling a few if they are compatible.

Has anyone had any luck with these?

Hi!

There is already another thread about this topic.

https://www.decware.com/cgi-bin/yabb22/YaBB.pl?num=1280888064

And the answer is yes.
The CSP2 and CSP2+ are very similar in design.

The 6BZ7 is interchangeable with the 6BQ7 and 6BS8. In later years they labeled them with multiple designations as well. It was a tube mainly used in tuners, I believe; but then the 6922's were made for oscilloscopes. Go figure.
