Been listening to a stock kit for over a month now running a Sansa Clip with a pair of Grado SR80s. Fantastic!

I ordered two boards and just for a goof would lilke to build the second one it with carbon-comp resistors and PIO caps just to hear what it would sound like.

How much noise would the carbon resistors introduce? I listen to mostly vinyl and reel to reel tape so a bit of background noise is OK with me.
