HWK15 with slotted port ???
05/17/10 at 13:49:31

I recently started a project after I found an extra top for my HWK15. The top fit perfectly but did not have a hole cut out for the top port. I came up with a slotted port that would fit between the HWK and the top with no hole.

Now that I have front firing ports top and bottom is this going to cause phase issues?

Will I need to run a sub allignment so the subs will run in phase instead of out of phase allignment I have now?

It is working and sounds great but it does not want to get along with the other subs in the room. Just looking for some opinions, besides it is going to be a challenge to figure out with all the possible sub allignments.

PS: I am using two Dayton Series IIs with magnets in the center chamber.
