Artyg,

 I would have to say there is no need...These little guys are as smooth as one could ask for in a speaker.
If by driver damping you're talking about the cone, again no need, as for frame/basket damping, there isn't much there to damp, the spokes are so thin, yet thick,  there isn't much left to apply anything to.
