Enjoying some Magic Time. It is truly a real thing.
I should be asleep, but I can not waste Magic Time again sleeping.

Due to some inspiration from earlier on the forum, I am going back through my Beatles collection.

The newly remastered "Revolver" should be here sometime. I don't think any have shipped yet, except to "special" places.
Still want to hear the old remaster first.

Someone mentioned "Rubber Soul" as a favorite and I lean that direction as well.
Only problem is I have a rough time not buying a Beatles release, but my money tree is not as healthy as it once was. I just hope "Rubber Soul" is next.

For this night ...
"Hard Days Night" is next.

Not so much classical or jazz lately, but some old rock albums.
All vinyl stuff I've been wanting to spin using my "new speakers" as a new listen to old things I know well or knew well as a younger.
Quite a few pleasant surprises, I want to say, but not surprisingly, most of these old albums sound different in some or many ways.

Montrose, Bloodrock, Deep Purple, Steppenwolf, Blue Oyster Cult, Uriah Heep, Jethro Tull, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Trapeze, Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Wishbone Ash, Eagles, Queen, Jimi Hendrix (Of Course!!), Led Zeppelin, Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Doors, Yes, Santana, Black Keys, Jefferson Airplane ...

That's the most recent stack I have yet to put away.

I find nuances previously only hinted at, in every exploration.
It has been a very fun week.

I'm not a big fan of jazz, but love this style. Something in my brain needs a beat to follow. Jimmy James is one of my favorite current guitarists. He also plays in the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio.

Dipping back into some classical styles.

Some Shostakovich Sonatas for cello, right now.

Absolutely nothing wrong with my new-ish speakers as they have settled in lately.
Amazingly precise instrument placement with such detail and definition. Heavy and rich, full body with unexpected and intricate nuances, engaging depth with ease and coherency that you can feel inside the goosebumps at times, all with laser-like stability to placement of instruments.
You just can not stop listening. I am missing some sleep, but I don't really miss it.
I should have always had these.
As long as I don't play musical track things that demand the extremes of the audio spectrum, nothing is ever left wanting.

Wow. I was told this was a good disc by Calvin Keys and that was not wrong. Wow. I like this one even more than I do his Black Jazz releases from the 'seventies. Quite a band!
