Same Old DD
|
Not so much classical or jazz lately, but some old rock albums. All vinyl stuff I've been wanting to spin using my "new speakers" as a new listen to old things I know well or knew well as a younger. Quite a few pleasant surprises, I want to say, but not surprisingly, most of these old albums sound different in some or many ways.
Montrose, Bloodrock, Deep Purple, Steppenwolf, Blue Oyster Cult, Uriah Heep, Jethro Tull, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Trapeze, Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Wishbone Ash, Eagles, Queen, Jimi Hendrix (Of Course!!), Led Zeppelin, Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Doors, Yes, Santana, Black Keys, Jefferson Airplane ...
That's the most recent stack I have yet to put away.
I find nuances previously only hinted at, in every exploration. It has been a very fun week.
Going further into Black Keys right now.
