It's almost as if Duke Pearson had a record almost ready and at the last minute Sun Ra came in and arranged it and he and his team produced it. Really nice mastering.

This is one of those albums where when I see the cover I want to play it. Expertly played music with that live performance thrill to it. And Maucha Adnet's wonderful singing on important tracks. Very well-recorded as well.

Sounds great. The only thing wrong with it is that it has the label for side 2 on both sides😳 I guess most folks would send it back, but I’m gonna keep it as an oddity. The record plays well and the music is the important thing.

The beautiful cd Fred Hersch "Plays Jobim."

I love Jobim. I really like Hersch. (I shied away from Hersch for a long time because the worst boss I had and one of the worst human beings I ever have met shared his last name. . . and looked quite similar! That was a mistake that I have corrected in my retirement years.)
