i would like to try this hwk design i have a mtx 15 9500 in a 6cf ported to 34hz box i am wondering if this woofer would work well or should i git somthing different. i am looking at the dayton mk111 15" just looking to use 1 driver for rate now.

I would say YES! The HWK is a forgiving design that has kept me busy for many years with different woofers, subwoofers, and speaker configurations out the yang. I have used one drive, two drivers and even four drivers to test the limit of this enclosure. You will not be disappointed with the HWK15. Build it and boom.
