I have built several HWKs over the years ranging from 10" to 18".

The 18" version can get extremely loud, but there are a lot of variables. Whether or not I would call it "simulating an earthquake" or not is subjective. With the right subs and power the 18" version will likely get down to 16 or 18 hz without too much effort. 10 hz is questionable though. Even 16 takes some serious subs and juice.

they typically sound great though with lesser or greater drivers. Are you building one? Do you have the equipment already?
