Coupling Cap in Zen SE84ZS
03/19/08 at 20:55:42

Hi, can someone please clarify this.

What is the value of the coupling cap in Select Zen Triode model SE84ZS.
Because in the online manual downloaded from https://www.decware.com/ZSmanual.pdf it is printed as .0.1 uf 600V WIMA POLY.

So is it .1 uf or is it .01 uf  :-/

Thanks in advance.

@ Steve : please rectify the typo and update the manual.

The Wima coupling cap is .1uf value. That particular mistake has been uncorrected in the zen schematic for years and years, in the same way the  "General Disscusion" forum will probably have the word "discussion" forever misspelled with two esses... Roll Eyes

Cheers,
Karl

I'm looking to get some V-caps for my Select. Have got another chap, so we need 4. Maybe we can put in the order together to get the discount?

Wow, must have missed it, but the misspelling of  the word "discussion" in the "General Discussion" forum has been corrected, finally!

Nifty...
