Radials with Select Zen vs. Standard Zen
06/03/07 at 00:21:01

Hey everyone,

After years of research and yearning I finally took the plunge and ordered a pair of Radial 1.5s! Grin I'm going to call Steve on Monday to confirm a few details and ask about the proper amp to match it with. If you're interested, I just posted a new topic here discussing the various options: https://www.decware.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1180825128

I'm very, very excited about finally making my way towards a reference system of my own. I've sold all of my old gear and have been listening to music on my computer's speakers for about a year now  :-[

Yea!

P.S. Here's lookin at you Lon  ;)

Hey everyone,

Long time no see! I've been breaking in my Radials and I must say they DO take a while to break in. They were very thin and light when I first started to play them and only just started to loosen up around the 50 hour mark. They arrived without a hitch and the packaging, like the Zen amp, is first rate. I'm writing my first impression review and I'll post it as soon as I can...including unboxing pics  ;)

On top of all of this excitment, my wife and I are have found an amazing apartment and we'll be dealing with moving and setting up new furniture and what not. At least I have more room for my radials now  :D

Stay tuned!

KJ:  Whoo hoo!  More space will be good for those Radials!  Yeah!  Eager to hear your impressions.
