I have began work on my DB and I can not wait to get it all together.  I have all the pieces cut out and ready to put together but in the instructions there is a small lip around the 10'' circle cutout however the directions say nothing about it. Should I just cutout a 10'' circle and screw the DHM108B into place or should I make a lip.  If so, what are the dimensions?  Thanks for the help.

Ok I just did some measurements, and if the hole for the sub woofer is 9.5'' in diameter, does that leave enough room for the DHM108B to be screwed in? there is only 1/4'' between the screw holes and the subwoofer hole.  Or should I cut a 9.25'' hole instead?

Will is be ok to make the height of the outer box 1'' shorter?

just use it like normal dont be afraid to turn it up

and,


try positioning the box in many different locations forward backwards down up etc, it will change perormance significantly. and eventually you will find the position that works best in your enviroment.

wow this thing is awesome!  On my Amp I have the sub boost on 0,    the LPF set half way, the gain is set to normal and I have the sub half way turned up on my head unit.  The sound is incredible.  I haven't yet turned in around but I will give it a try.

try 60 hz and turn it up a lil

that's the spirit. looking great.
try to cross as high as possible without the sub beeing 'locatable' and without moving the soundstage towards the back.

Whoa what do you have that amp grounded to??  I'd try to shorted that ground by finding a clear place and drill a hole and use a nut and bolt
