Altec 414-8E for 12" HW? (Read 428 times)

46ULTRAFLEX Ex Member	Altec 414-8E for 12" HW? 11/24/06 at 20:30:25 Hi, this woofer has QT=0,2 ,Fs=30 and VAS=7,91 is this good to use for a 12" HW cab? I also have another GAMMA 12" , driver with QT=0,42 , Fs=25 and VAS=12 is this more useful? please help me.... thanks!/

I like to know if there is some thiele parameters that a driver should have for working good in this cab?

Is there some driver 12" and 15" that is used in the original design by Mr Derkert ?

please give me the name of some driver to look for.

I need clean musical bass between 30-70 hz.

I listen in mormal level. I do not need 120db.

re-read this ^ almost any driver works. if you have 12s build the hwk12, if you have 15s build the 15" version.
