do you know JBL LE8T and NFX design are compatible?

Hi Tubetrapper,
The wide range of options for enclosure volume, the very long Maximum Excursion Before Damage, and the reasonably large Qts value all make this look like an excellent speaker for an open baffle mounting such as the NFX.  
Also, a 2 inch voice coil is an unusually large diameter for an 8 inch speaker.  This ought to give the motor extra control, which ought to be another recomendation for open baffle use, since there is no cabinet to provide damping of unwanted speaker cone movement.  
I would expect good results.
