hi i have trying to find topics about a db for a 15in sub but cant find anything concrete, if i buy the plans is there somebody out there that might be able to help me on the dimensions? building is no problem but the math kills me. Roll Eyes

there are a few members here that can help you with the maths, but don't worry, it's all very basic math.

thanks so i guess my next step is to get the plans. do you think the mtx is a good sub for a box like that? and just 1 more ??? how many liters do you think the box will be?

Hi again the question about the box is so i can find out now if i will even be able to use it. anything over 80L will be to big for my trunk Angry

The standard 12 inch DB is larger in size then 80L (roughly 100L)- a 15 would be even larger.

Cry ok thanks i guess i will have to stay with a normal sealed box unless somebody out there has something better than that????

stick to sealed if you only have 80L to work with.

you could build half an inverted wedge, it would be smallish and have some benifits of loading and coupling.

another user built a half-wedge for a mag 15 iirc.
model an ideal sealed box and if what the half-wedge will offer regarding sealed volume isn't world's diffrent, it's gonna be ok.
