My Wicked One Build (pics)

This is two days into the build, all bafles are datoed, glued, and screwd folowed by PL200 in all inside corners once they are all instaled. I plan to cut out and install lexan windows on the lid looking down infront of the woofer as well as sum sound activated Neon lights. I will post more as the build progresses. Let me know what you guys think.

I used a dato blade on the table saw for most of the straight cuts but the rest is routered. All 1/8" deep in the top and bottom panels and the sides are datoed together as well, will be one strong box.

Once you have your pictures uploaded to a site (either personal space or something like www.dotphoto.com or http://www.photobucket.com/) all you need is the URL to the picture.

Then you can copy that URL and paste it into your message.

put these things in your message [img] and  [ /img]

(Take out the space in the second set of brackets)

and paste the url between them.
That should get you a picture on the board.
Other wise, you can upload your photo and just paste the link and we can click on it to see the image on the website.

There is also a good explanation of code for forums here although it can differ from site to site

Let us know how it works out!

If I were you- I would scallop out the baffles behind the driver.  They look very tight in there.  It will help airflow and won't hurt anything.

With the dados you could have skipped using all the screws ??? all they really do is hold the joints together while the glue dryes. Would have saved some time on filling and sanding Smiley

first corner (compression chamber)  looks a bit odd to me?  doesnt look like a clean transition from chamber to throat? looks like theres a very quick contraction  than an expansion then another contraction? (all within the first corner) might be the pic ?

im guessing it might effect performance 20% im guessing the difference mght be some weird 'chuffing' or muddled bass.

only take 10 mins a side to fix it?

Well sort of..... Don't forget the brace.
Why do so many people ignore the brace?
