I'm curious what taps you're using in your Tori. I have the Pure Audio Project Quintet 8ohm speakers. Currently I have them connected to the 3.5 ohm taps.I didn't really spend much time listening on the 8ohm taps. Now I rethinking it. I was told to listen to both taps and decide what was better.

On my last amplifier Wilsenten R8 I the 4 ohm taps sounded better, so that what I went with on the Tori V. Now I rethinking it. What do you guys think, what taps are you currently using and how did you come to that conclusion. I appreciate your feedback and input.

I’ve liked the high taps on the speakers I have used (Klipsch Heresy I, Li Song Z15L, and Decware HRv2). The low taps seemed muddled for me. Speakers appear more open on the high tap.
