Title: Removing and replacing knobs from Torii MKIV
Post by thevinoman on 03/31/23 at 17:30:58

I would like to remove and replace the current gold knobs as pictured on my recently acquired Torii MKIV.  Need to know how to remove them (simply pull them off?) as there is no set screw.  Obviously, I don't want to damage the top of the chassis.  I want to replace them with Chickenhead knobs and would like to know the shaft size I need.  Thanks for any help.

DECWARE pots use a quarter inch shaft. Good luck getting those gold knobs off. I will let someone who knows how respond to your question.

"Good luck" meaning it's not easy?  I'm not in a hurry, just want to do it correctly.  Thanks for any help.

My Torii Mk IV was originally shipped with an incorrect volume knob.
Decware sent me a replacement.
Using a very tiny screwdriver (similar to what is used for say, glasses), I unscrewed that screw, pulled it off, popped the new one on, and screwed it in.
All good.

Your knobs may be different from mine though.

Not to go into a freefall here but just pull them straight up and they should come up.
