There was a thread on Audiokarma asking folks to post artsy photos of your system. So I got creative. Had never really experimented with the photo edit options on my iPhone. Some pretty neat effects.

Super cool Geno! I’m loving the vintage gear too.

Are those speakers now 3 way? Or do I see three full range speakers?
I told you how much I liked the way they looked, room looks fantastic very comfortable, after the Decfest we will all go back to your house, :)

Nicely done, Geno!
Love those open baffles!
Did you build those yourself?

Great set up and excellent picture of your system. Enjoy the heck out of it!

Joe,

No, the driver configuration has not changed. I had to cut 4” off of one side of each taller baffle. The left baffle was so close to the entry door, that my brother-in-law(who has a big-beer-belly😁) could barely fit through. I didn’t have the right saw to cut them, and I messed them up pretty badly. So I had to fashion edge covers to hide my hatchet job.

All of that to say that what appears to be a third driver, is a decorative half-circle on top of the edge cover. These will soon have a black dragon silhouette in the center. A lot of extra work to hide my screw up. I’ll post a video on YouTube when I finish with them.

Tommy,

Thank you. No indeed, I did not have the tools or know how to build the baffles. I had them made.

HK,

Thanks. I enjoy them as often as possible, as I know you do 8-)

Best to all,

Geno

Very cool shot Geno. Hack job or not, I like the innovation with paring the driver baffles. If eyes could hear, I'm seeing some great sounding jazz ;)

Thanks John. Kind of embarrassing to talk about with folks on the forum like you and Donnie, who seem to be able to build anything they want [smiley=10.gif]

They sure do sound great though :)

Best,

Geno
