Very nice indeed. I quite taken with your socket savers. I don’t think I’ve seen those before.

Looking good.  How do you like the Omegas?  I was always tempted but never tried a pair...

Nice! Looking at your setup reminds me of conversations I’ve had with Caintuck Randy. It would be so cool to be able to go on a country wide listening tour to be able to hear all of the various forum members systems. I wish we weren’t so spread out.

Geno,

A countrywide tour is a great idea. All we need is willing participants and  a chartered bus with a good stereo system☺️.

Ha! Yep I can see it now. Walk into the office next week and tell my boss that I’m taking a few months off to go on tour  8-)

I have a 1976 Dodge MaxiVan with no windows out behind the hog shed.
It hasn't ran since the late 80's but I'm sure that it would start right up.
We could throw some folding chairs in the back and tour the country.

Nothing like a bunch of grumpy old guys fighting about what kind of food to eat and what the next song should be!

Just a non-stop party.

I also have the jr8xrs but with the standard speakers. Did Lewis make yours with the alnico or did you obtain them?

Joey, I ordered mine customized with the alnico drivers.

Title: 2 upgrades on the way
Post by piezoman on 09/19/20 at 18:50:02

I just purchased a CSP3-25 Anniversary Edition from a fellow forum member, this is a brand new addition since I didn't gave a preamp. Has about 400 hrs. on it.

I also just sold my Bryston BDA-2 DAC and purchased Bryston's flagship BDA-3 to replace it. Thw new one has the IAD card upgrade from the factory.  Audio sound quality makes yet another jump from an already highly musical, pristine presentation..... plus it gives DSD256 streaming/playback capability. Was lucky to get a crazy good deal on usaudiomart.

This should just about complete the audio journey!

I'll post pics on the new configuration after I receive both units......should be in about a week.

Hey Groove,

Indeed I did! Mint condition, a real beaut  ;)  Nice bonus was a couple extra tubes the seller purchased from Brent Jesse, which included a nice Mullard fat base GZ34 (now I have 4 of these).

I'm due to receive the new BDA-3 DAC from the seller in Canada on Monday. I will post new pics then! Thanks for asking.
