Title: Using SE84UFO's as mono amps Post by akmike on 03/30/18 at 18:08:24 What is the best way to bridge the SE84UFO's? 1. Have them wired in mono when purchased 2. Use an RCA splitter on the source end with 2 runs of cable to the inputs on the amp for each channel. 3. Use a Y cable adapter. Using a Y cable adapter seems like you are putting a week link in the chain. I have not found many quality Y cables. Morrow Audio does make a full length Y cable. I would like the use the Decware Silver Reference Interconnects. |

If you don't already have one of the amps why not order the mono blocks with or without the anniversary mod :) I know you don't get as many watts as two se84ufo's bridged, but I'm not sure it's necessary if you have efficient speakers. |

It seems a shame to use a high quality cable with a low quality adapter. Any suggestions? That’s why I thought of his an RCA splitter with two cables. |

But I don't think Steve would recommend something that isn't optimal. Pretty simple. Like others have commented, the instructions can be found in the manual on the website.
