Title: Re: ZBOX between Pre and Amp Post by Denizen on 07/13/16 at 18:18:45 Actually it may even work better then having it before the pre, I mean if you put it prior to the pre your taking your signal and giving it a tube signature and then into the pre which might subtract from that signature. Anyway, since the Z-BOX is less than unity gain, you shouldn't have to worry about overdriving anything and it would be interesting to see how it performs differently between the two layouts.
