Title: Parker 95 MKII (bookshelf version) Post by toschek on 03/22/13 at 06:24:09 Will these do well for a bedroom system w/ the Taboo? 95dB for the Parkers vs. 96dB recommended in the manual? I am looking at some Zu audio Omen bookshelves as an alternative, but they are awfully big looking and I don't really want to spend an additional $400 - $500 if I don't strictly have to. I am having a hard time understanding the conversion of speaker impedance/wattage as well. So these Parkers are 4 ohm, but the Taboo is 8 ohm 4.5wpc right? Effectively how much power will I get from 4 ohm speakers? Half? Conversely, the Zu Omen bookshelves are 12ohm so what effect does that have on output power? Thanks for your help guys & gals. |

My current #1 is a set of Parker 95 Signatures. Given how my Taboo MkII performed in backup duty to my Torii, I cannot imagine it will do anything but beautifully. |

p.s. I think I read somewhere that if you buy it in kit form - Zygi (TPA) is the recommended builder of the kits. |
